Abstract	Tema ovog rada su modeli supstitucije nukleotida. Posebno su opisane diskretne i neprekidne inačice modela: Jukes-Cantor (JC69), Kimura (K80), Felsenstein (F81), Hasegawa-Kishino-Yano (HKY85) i opći reverzibilni model (GTR). Dana su dva primjera njihove primjene: izračunavanje logenetskih udaljenosti i rekonstrukcija logenetskih stabala. Modeli su implemetirani u R-u u svrhu simulacije evolucije DNK nizova.
