Abstract
Poznati francuski matematičar Pierre – Simon de Laplace jednom je rekao: „Read Euler, read Euler, he is the master of us all.“ Tema ovog diplomskog rada je Leonhard Euler. U prvom poglavlju, napravit ćemo kratak uvod u temu. Drugo poglavlje bavi se životom Leonharda Eulera. U trećem poglavlju, objasnit ćemo Eulerove doprinose matematici u područjima teorije brojeva i geometrije. Četvrto poglavlje opisuje ostale doprinose Eulera matematici, iz kojih izdvajamo područje logaritama, beskonačnih nizova, analitičke teorije brojeva, kompleksnih brojeva, algebre i kombinatorike. U petom poglavlju, napravit ćemo kratak zaključak o temi.
